In the new TV Guide Magazine, Michael Logan reports that Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) will be staying with The Young & the Restless at least for the time being. As reported earlier Y&R wanted Scott to take a pay cut or go to recurring status. Glad to hear that Scott is staying on the soap.

Soap Opera vet Judi Evans will be joining the cast of As The World Turns starting August 26th. Evans was last seen on Days of Our Lives. She also had roles on Another World and Guiding Light.
Tammy Barr Joining The Young & the Restless

On July 2nd Tammy Barr will guest star on The Young & the Restless as a young Patty Williams. She will be shown in flashback scenes. Patty Williams is Paul’s sister and Jack’s ex-wife.

Morgan Fairchild Appearing on The Bold & the Beautiful

Morgan Fairchild is set to make an appearance on The Bold & the Beautiful as Dottie a friend of Stephanie’s. Fairchild will appear from August 10 - 14. Also look for Alan Thicke, Jim J. Bullock, Melissa Rivers, and Samantha Potter who was a runner up on “America’s Next Top Model” to make an appearance during this time.
Lynn Herring Joining As The World Turns

Former General Hospital and Port Charles star Lynn Herring will be joining the cast of As The World Turns. Herring will play the role of Audrey, Henry Coleman’s mother. Herring will make her debut on July 24th.
Crystal Chappell returning to Days of our Lives

In an interview with TV Guide Crystal Chappell (Olivia) announce that she will be returning to Days of Our Lives sometime later this year. Chappell last appear on Days back in 1993 as the character Carly Manning. Chappell will be leaving Guiding Light after it airs it final episode on CBS in September and does not plan on sticking around if the soap is pick up by another network.
