Guiding Light - Thursday Reliving the past

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

hpim1942.JPGhpim1941.JPGAs Jonathan holds Tammy in his arms, we are taken back to 1937 when Guiding Light was heard on the radio only.

The producer, Irna Phillips, was played by Harley. Her assistant was Blake. Alan was the voice as he introduced the characters as people held on to their seats wondering what was going to happen next. Phillips was a woman who knew what she wanted. She created the characters and to her, they were alive.

Guiding Light went to television and there were new issues to deal with. People loved it and people complained about it, but it managed to be a success.

The Reverend Rutledge summed it up as he spoke these inspiring words…

‘There is a destiny that makes us brothers, none goes his way alone. All that we send into the lives of others, comes back into our own.’

Jonathan hated to leave Tammy but he respects her wishes to go get Sarah. Reva decided that she better go too since Alan has control of Sarah. Cassie goes in and visits with her daughter while they are gone. But unfortunately, Tammy wanted to let Cassie know that she needed her to promise that she would look out for Jonathan and Sarah. The Bold & The Beautiful - Tuesday

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

Thorne, Ridge and Brooke work hard at designing a new line.

Phebe comes in looking for her mom. Taylor is not answering her phone and she was going to take Alli for some ice cream and wanted Taylor to go to. Thorne tells her that Taylor is in a meeting and that is a kind idea but Phebe and Alli would probably have a better time with just them two. Ridge makes a comment about where Taylor is spending her time. Throrne tells him not to start anything.

Taylor and Nick meet and talk. Nick wants to take Taylor out in public to eat. Taylor don’t think it is a good idea to be seen out in public with everything the way it is going. But she is soon talked into it and goes with him to an old bar type resturant where they drink cokes and talk. Taylor starts to feel more comfortable.

Nick offers to buy a boutique from Arthur who is doing business with Forester Creations.
