Josh is put in solitare. Ashlee has been charged with attempted murder of Alan Spaulding. Doris is by her daughter’s side when she makes her confession and is booked for the crime. Ashlee is crying as she endures the nightmare but Coop stays faithful by her side.

Reva is feeling guilty over what she has done with Josh and not telling Cassie about it. Billy interrupts her thoughts when he announces that they will be attending a baseball game. Reva is surprised but okay, she will go. Now that Ashlee will be going to prison for shooting Alan, what will happen to Josh? Can he make it out of prison before being beat up by inmates?

Cassie shocks Reva by asking her to be her Maid of Honor. Reva told her that now is not a good time to go into that but Cassie wants an answer now. Reva will have to watch Josh marry her sister knowing that they have recently shared an hour of making love. Can she honestly stand up by Cassie’s side and stay quiet while they say their vows? How could Cassie have the nerve to ask such a huge favor of Reva when she is naturally best buddies with Harley right now? See how it all unfolds today.

CBS Soaps Interrupted Monday and Tuesday

Tuesday, April 17th, 2007

Since the shootings at Virginia Tech yesterday morning, television coverage has been almost non-stop. We live about one hour away and all channels are locked in on complete coverage. The service was today at 2:00 pm. Tomorrow the CBS soaps should be back on as scheduled.
I was able to catch part of Guiding Light today. I will report on it below.

Guiding Light:

Monday, Daisy has a quiet moment with Gus. She confided in him about her true feelings, she was in love with him. Gus was stunned and gently told Daisy that he only considered her a daughter. Daisy doesn’t handle rejection very well. She drugged his drink. While he was drugged, Daisy lit a candle and snuggled in Gus’ arms. The candle caught on fire. Gus and Daisy get out okay. Gus was taken to the hospital.

Jeffrey and Olivia kidnap Alan Michael and tie him to a chair. They eventually let him go. They were doing it to protect Ava.

Tuesday, Gus is in the hospital. Harley needs to know what happened. Daisy goes in before Harley and begs Gus to keep their conversation a secret. Gus doesn’t tell on Daisy. Harley wonders why there is drugs in his system again. Dylan finds Harley and he tells Harley that he is staying in town for good. Harley confesses to Dylan that she enrolled Daisy into boot camp. Later on, when Daisy mentions that she is going to be in trouble for not showing up at boot camp Dylan tells her that she is not going anywhere.

My prayers go out to all of those who endured yesterday’s tragedy.

Alan starts the morning off by confronting Alan Michael. He tells Alan Michael that he tried to take over the company and he tried to seduce Beth. Alan Michael tells Alan that he was protecting the company from Doris. He also said that he didn’t seduce Beth, she seduced him. She even claimed to be pregnant. Alan defended Beth telling Alan Michael that she was truely pregnant. Alan also said that Beth was the only one who really stood by him when he was in a coma. She cared about him getting better, unlike everyone else who would benefit from his death. He also brought up the fact that Alan Michael almost killed him when he refused to give him the shot that brought him around at first. As a result of his actions, Alan has the board remove Alan Michael from his seat and he has also disowned him as his son. Alan Michael is no longer welcome at the Spaulding Mansion. (more…)
