Robin Riker will be joining the cast of The Bold & the Beautiful as Beth Logan. Beth Logan is the mother of the Logan children. I think it is about time that Beth Logan showed up, since her son just recently passed away and her daughter Katie needed a heart transplant.

Hogan Sheffer will be joining the writing staff of The Young & the Restless as co-headwriter. Sheffer was recently the headwriter for Days of Our Lives. He also wrote for As the World Turns.

Guiding Light’s EJ Bonilla (Rafe) just wrapped up working on his first film role. It is an independent movie called Don’t Let Me Drown. The film is about two Latinos who fall in love in New York after 9/11. The film will soon be hitting the festival circuit.

We will soon be seeing less of Michael Graziadei (Daniel) on The Young & the Restless. He will be out for six weeks shooting the movie The Reef. On the show Daniel will go on tour with his father Danny starting May 27. Look for Graziadei to make his return on Y&R sometime in July.

There was a reason that the character of Colleen left for Shanghai last week on The Young & the Restless. Her portrayer Tammy Sursok is shooting a TV movie in Canada called Spectacular. It will air on Nickelodeon and it is suppose to be like Disney’s High School Musical. The movie will most likely come out some time in 2009.

Soap Opera Weekly is reporting that Beth Ehlers (Harley on Guiding Light) is joining the cast of All My Children. Ehlers would be joining her former Guiding Light co-star Ricky Paull Goldin over at AMC. There was word that Ehlers might be recast as Liza Colby over at AMC, but she could also play another character. No word yet if Guiding Light plans to recast the role of Harley. This is another big lost for Guiding Light.

Eddie Cibrian (ex Matt Clark on The Young & the Restless) will be a guest star on the hit ABC show Ugly Betty as coach Tony Diaz, who interacts with Betty’s sister Hilda. It is always nice to see sexy Eddie on my TV screen. You can catch Ugly Betty on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.

Ever since her co-star Ricky Paull Goldin (ex Gus) decided to leave Guiding Light there have been rumors that Beth Ehlers (Harley) will also soon leave the soap. As of right now Ehlers has decided to take a month hiatus from the show and will decide after that if she wants to continue playing Harley Cooper or maybe join another soap. I will keep you posted when I get more information.
