For those of you who watch The Bold & the Beautiful back in 80s when it first came on you may remember this character. Bryan Genesse (Rocco) will be returning to the soap. The character Rocco appear on the soap from 1987-1989. During that time he dated both Katie and Donna Logan. Genesse will return on March 12th.

NAACP Image Award Nominations for Daytime Soaps
Thursday, January 8th, 2009The NAACP Image Award recently announced their nominations. Several CBS daytime stars were nominated. Bryton McClure (Devon), Christel Khalil (Lily), Eva Marcille (Tyra), Nia Peeples (Karen) and Tonya Lee Williams (Olivia) from The Young & the Restless were all nominated. Dan Martin (Lt. Baker) and Texas Battle (Marcus) from The Bold & the Beautiful were also nominated. Montel Williams (Clayton) from Guiding Light also receive a nomination. Congrats to all the nominees. You can catch the award show on February 12th on Fox.

It has been reported on several websites and soap magazines that Guiding Light John Driscoll (Coop) has been let go from the soap. As of right now there is no word as to how Driscoll’s character will exit the long time running soap.
