Dallas informs Jack, in his hospital bed, that an eyewitness saw a man and a woman pushing J.J. into a car and leaving the scene with him. Carly tells Jack that no one can solve the case like him and she helps him out of bed to get back to the station. He’s hurting physically and still really pissed off at Carly, but he goes back to the station and theorizes that one of J.J.’s kidnappers probably knew J.J.’s biological father Les. He tells Dallas to call the prison where Les did time and ask about friends he may have had on the inside.
Mady tries to convince Noah to talk his dad into let skip millitary service and go to Northwestern University next year, though he seems pretty convinced that his dad won’t go for it.
Aaron, meanwhile, overhears Sofie’s boyfriend bullying her like a 1950s husband. Like, “oh, no, you’re not. You are going to do exactly what I tell you to do, woman.” This guy has got to go, and it’s kinda obvious that Aaron likes Sofie.
Also, Holden finds out that Lily gave Carly the ransom money ($100,000.00) without telling him about it AND against Jack’s instructions. He is ticked at her to say the least, and basically tells her that he can’t trust her. Just as she’s running after him, Carly comes in with another “Oh, Lily, what am I gonna do???” sad face. Like Lily doesn’t have her own problems Carly. Man, it’s like Carly just brings hurt into everyone’s life. AAAAAAhhhhh. CARLY, GROW UP!
