Nia Peeples (Karen) has been let go from The Young & the Restless. As of right now there is no word when her last air date will be.

It has been reported by Soap Opera Digest and several other websites that the long running soap opera Guiding Light has been cancel. Guiding Light has been on the air for over 70 years and is the longest running show in TV history. The last air date is suppose to be September 18th. This is a sad day for the soap opera genre.

It had been reported on several websites that Jess Walton (Jill Abbott) had walk off of the set of The Young & the Restless after the soap wanted her to take a pay cut. Last week the soap put out a casting call for the role of Jill Abbott. The lastest word on the story is that Jess Walton and Y&R have come to an agreement and she will be staying with the show.

Beau Kazer (Brock Reynolds) will be returning to The Young & the Restless on April 1st. His appearance should help prove that Katherine really is Katherine.

The Daytime Emmys have finally found a home. After the major networks past on showing this year’s Emmys, the CW Network has decided they will air the award show. The award show is tentatively schedule to air on August 31, 2009. The main nominees will be announce on the fourth hour of the Today Show on May 14th.
