It is being reported that Canadian actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is joining the cast of The Bold & the Beautiful as Steffy Forrester. Steffy is Taylor and Ridge’s daughter and is the twin sister of Phoebe.

A few months ago I mention on this site that Brandon Beemer was rumored to be joining the cast of The Bold & the Beautiful, now Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Beemer is in fact joining the soap. Beemer is said to be joining the cast as a new character.

This week’s classic clip comes from Guiding Light. This was from way back in 1984. It is a clip of the couple Beth Raines and Lujack at the time played by Judi Evans and Vincent Irizarry. This shows the couple in love and enjoying the beach to the tune Almost Paradise.

There is Q&A video of Beth Ehlers (Harley) and Murray Bartlett (Cyrus) over at iVillage. They discuss the new sets and whats coming up with their characters.

Today the Daytime Emmy Nominations were announce. CBS led the other networks in nominations. Since this site is focus on CBS Soaps I will list the nominations from CBS soaps.

Guiding Light and The Young & the Restless were nominated for Outstanding Drama along with General Hospital and One Life to Live.

Texas Battle is said to be joining the cast of The Bold & the Beautiful. The spoilers are saying that he will be connected to Donna Logan. B&B could use some more diversity in its cast, so I hope that Battle’s character can actually have a good storyline.

Ashley Jones (Bridget) from The Bold and The Beautiful will be staring in a TV movie on Lifetime called A Teacher’s Crime on May 3rd. Jones plays a teacher who is being blackmailed by one of her student’s father.

This week’s clip of the week is the 2nd part of the clip from last week. It comes from The Bold & the Beautiful. This is Stephanie confronting Brooke about her affair with Thorn part 2.

Joshua Morrow (Nick) of The Young & the Restless and his wife Tobe Morrow have a new baby son name Cash Joshua Morrow. Mother and son are doing fine. This is the couples third son.

Michael Damien (Danny) is set to make another appearance on The Young & the Restless sometime in May. Damien recently returned for an appearance on Y&R for the Restless Style launch party and to try to make amends with his son Daniel.

Kathy Hilton who is Paris Hilton’s mom will guest star as herself on the May 13th episode of the Young & the Restless. She will play a friend of Jack’s who is helping with the cover model for Restless Style.

This week’s clip comes from The Bold & the Beautiful. This is when Stephanie confronts Brooke about her affair with Thorn.

Gil Rogers (Hawk Shayne) will be returning to Guiding Light on May 1st. Hawk is Reva’s father. Rogers was last seen on Guiding Light back in 2006.

Michael Graziadei (Daniel) from The Young & the Restless will guest star on Criminal Minds on April 30th. Graziadei will be joining former Y&R star Shemar Moore (ex Malcolm) on the hit CBS show.

Patrick Duffy (Stephen Logan) will be returning to The Bold & the Beautiful starting May 1st. Stephen is suppose to be returning for some kind of upcoming crisis that will effect the Logan family. You can also catch Duffy as the host of the game show Bingo America on the Game Show Network.
