The Bold & the Beautiful

by Jennifer Frye

Stephanie comes into the office and asked Taylor if she is free for lunch. Taylor tells her no that she has plans with Nick. Stephanie makes her comment and Taylor realized that Stephanie will not be over it anytime soon. Stephanie asked if Taylor wasn’t worried about Phoebe. Taylor assured her that Phoebe is okay with her relationship. “The fact is I’m done with your family, I’m in love with Nick”. Taylor walks away leaving Stephanie alone. Stephanie don’t know what to say.

Nick is having a flashback of the night of the boat crash and how he had to pull her up to the surface and give her mouth to mouth to revive her. Jack comes in and interrupts her conversation. He was holding a latern that was on The Marlin when it crashed. Jackie tells him that he really loved that boat. Nick tells her that it was probably meant to be.
Jackie tells Nick that he should slow down with Taylor. She tells him that it might not be long before Brooke is available again.

Stephanie finally gets over the shock of Taylor’s comment and asked him what she thought that she was talking about. Taylor reminds Steph of a time when she thought that Ridge and Brooke belong together. Stephanie tells her that she was wrong. Taylor walks away.

Stephanie stays in her office to look around and finds a book in Taylor’s book shelf entitled Pregnancy after 40. Stephanie wonders if Taylor is pregnant or is she thinking about getting pregnant. Stephanie wants Ridge and Taylor to get back together and Brooke to get back together with Nick and in a perfect world that would happen but in Stephanie’s world, it will not work.

Stephanie goes over to tell Jackie what she suspects is going on. Jackie clutches the pregnancy book that Stephanie showed her as she tries to come to reality that her son may soon become a father. Stephanie convinces Jackie that the best thing to do right now is to seperate Nick from Taylor and get him back with Brooke. Stephanie tells Jackie that they must work together to make sure that this doesn’t happen. Jackie tells Stephanie that Taylor sent a car for Nick earlier and they are going to eat dinner together but she is not sure where they were going. Meanwhile,
Taylor makes Nick keep his eyes closed as she leads him onto a boat. She lets him know when to open his eyes. He opens them to find that he is standing on a boat. Taylor tells him that it is for him. Nick is shocked that he would give her the boat. He then takes this time to set her down and he gets down on one knee. He tells her “timing is everything”. He purposes to her. Taylor smiles as tears fill up in her eyes.
