The Bold & the Beautiful

by Jennifer Frye

In Sydney Australia:

It’s 3:00 am and Ridge and Brooke are asleep. Phoebe is in her room when she hears a knock on the door. She opens it and its Rick. He greets her with a passionate kiss. Just then, Ridges phone rings. Rick and Phoebe hear it and wonder if someone has called him to let him know that Rick is visiting Phoebe. She tells him not to worry about it. Rick tells Phoebe that he is tired of sneaking around. He doesn’t want to get caught because it will make it harder on Phoebe.

Meanwhile, we found out who called Ridge, it was Stephanie. She wanted to check in with Ridge and to find out how everything is going. Ridge tells her that it is too early to talk right now. He happens to express his frustration of keeping his daughter away from Brooke’s son. Stephanie makes a comment that he needs to just belt Rick one time. That will make him stop. He tells Stephanie that he would like to ring his neck. Brooke over hears his conversation with his mother and when he hangs up the phone, she leans over him and says “you want to ring my son’s neck?? Ridge hangs his head down as he realizes that he will not be going to sleep anytime soon.

When Stephanie hangs up the phone, she gets ready for breakfast. Pam, Eric and Ann sit down to eat. Ann makes some comments toward Stephanie. Stephanie reminds Ann that she is only a guest and when she is in her house she will act like it. She and Ann continue to argue back and forth and finally Ann leaves the table after Stephanie gets very angry. Pam asked her what she wanted them to do. Stephanie told her to pack up their things and go back home, but Eric intervened and told Pam that no one was to make a drastic decision in that situation. Pam leaves to go fix Ann something to eat. She tells Stephanie that Ann turns really cranky if she doesn’t eat. Stephanie yells at her as she walks away that she needs to stop babying Ann because that is why she doesn’t have a life. Eric sits down at the table with Stephanie and he tries to discuss her anger. Eric tells Stephanie that her father is dead and gone so she should be able to let the child abuse go before she passes it on to the kids. Stephanie gets defensive telling Eric that she has never lifted a finger to her children. Eric reminded her that Ridge flies off the handle every once in a while. Eric warned Stephanie that one of these days he will hurt something that he won’t be able to mend and Stephanie will never forgive herself.

Back at Sidney, Phoebe is emailing Donna but Donna calls Phoebe to find out why she is still up. Phoebe tells Donna about her dream, to have some time alone with Rick. She mentioned the hotel website mentioned a spa and a room that would be perfect for her and Rick. Donna told her to book it but Phoebe reminds Donna that her father knows about everything. Then Donna had an idea and she asked Phoebe who made her travel arrangements for her. Phoebe remembered that it was Molly back at work. Donna tells Phoebe that the reservation could be put in her name. So Donna logs on and makes the reservation using Molly’s name. But Donna made her promise that she and Rick would not use this time to make love, but just spend quality time together. Phoebe promises that she would not do anything that she would be ashamed of. They hang up. Then Phoebe calls Rick to tell him that she has come up with a plan. They end the conversation with tomorrow.
