The Bold & The Beautiful

by Jennifer Frye

hpim1753.JPGhpim1749.JPGhpim1747.JPGStephanie opens the door to find that Ann and Pam are standing there. The family showed up to see who was there. Ridge and Thorne and everyone was there. Pam introduces herself to everyone. Ann recognizes everyone from the pictures. Ridge and Thorn don’t want her there. Not after what Ann has put her family through. Ridge makes Thomas take the little kids out of the room. Eric announces to everyone that he was the one that invited Ann and Pam there. They have traveled a long way to see the family. Ann said that she needed to talk to Stephanie first. She tells Stephanie that she needed to say something to Stephanie before she left. She wanted to apologize to Stephanie. Ridge tells her she wasn’t welcome. Stephanie said just leave. Eric goes over to talk to Stephanie and defends her. Ann gets weak and has to sit down after she recalls a memory. Taylor tells Stephanie that she has come a long ways and she needs to give her a chance. Eric reminds her that they are family and look at how many times that they have forgiven each other. Ann gets up to leave but Taylor stops them. She wants to talk to Stephanie alone. She said that if she can’t move on, no one in this house can move on. Everyone looks up to Stephanie. It’s time to forgive her mother.
As the family waits on Stephanie and and Taylor, the family talks about the situation like Ann is not there. Pam stands up and defends Ann. Ann said that she don’t blame anyone for the way they feel. She loves Stephanie. She is so sorry. Pam said that she will never be able to forgive herself unless Stephanie forgives her first.
Taylor tells Stephanie that she needs to forgive her mother. Stephanie admits that it hurts to have her mother here. Taylor tells her that she always wanted control and look at the power she has in her hands right now. Stephanie said after 30 years she finally admits it. Stephanie said that she can’t forgive her, and she won’t. Stephanie said she didn’t hate her mother and she don’t want her kids to. Stephanie said that she should have done this 30 years ago. Ann swept it under the rug and now it is too late. She asked Taylor to go out there and ask her mother to leave. She just can’t do this.
Taylor goes to talk to Ann. She said she was sorry but Stephanie wants them both to leave. They get up to walk out. Pam stops and says, ” Forgive us, we didn’t mean to ruin your Christmas”. Ann added,” I can’t tell you what it’s meant to see you, merry christmas”. Eric plays the piano and sings ‘what child is this’. Stephanie hears their music and walks out. Everyone is gathered around the piano singing as Pam and Ann stand for a minute to listen. Alley walks over to get Ann’s hand to bring her to the piano to sing too. Ann don’t know what to do. Stephanie walks over to Ann and says “alright, alright, I forgive you”. Ann hugs Stephanie as Eric continues to sing and play. What a wonderful Christmas gift…Forgiveness.
