The Bold & The Beautiful

by Jennifer Frye

hpim1786.JPGhpim1785.JPGJackie has some models showing off their new clothing line. Jackie talks about how bad they all look. Nick was in another world. He was thinking about his memory of Captain Kramer. Jackie interupts him to tell him that the clothing line is wrong. Jackie keeps talking as he goes over to his phone. He called Taylor and says that he needs to see her right away. Taylor suggests that she comes over to his office. He tells her No and to meet him on the boat. Jackie tries to convince him that Taylor is not helping him, but he continues to walk out to meet Taylor.
Jackie goes back to tell the models how the dresses are all wrong, when Stephanie walks in. The models are glad to see her, but Jackie isn’t. Stephanie tells Jackie that Nick is messed up because of Jackie. Then, Jackie brings up the fact that Stephanie pushed her off of the landing. Stephanie asked her why she had to bring that up again. She didn’t mean to hurt her. Jackie tells Stephanie that she didn’t like Nick seeing Taylor and Taylor is just wanting the company back. Stephanie defends Taylor.
Nick meets Taylor on the boat. Nick closes his eyes and tries to remember. He goes back to when he was a little boy and he was laying in bed asleep. He is awaken by the sounds of moaning and crying from his mother. He opens his bedroom door to go down the hall to her room. He turns the door knob but the door is locked. He asked his mom if she was okay. She answered him yes and tells him to go back to bed. When he goes back to his room, he can’t go to sleep. That is all that he can remember. He is mad because he can’t remember. Someone was hurting his mother.
Stephanie tells Jackie that her son is the way he is because of her. Hopefully Taylor can help him to become a better person.
Taylor gets him to sit back down and close his eyes. She reminds him that he is trying to remember what was going on. The sounds that he heard, could they be the sound of Captain Kramer and his mother making love? She tells him that sometimes the sound of love making can be frightening to a child. Nick heard a ships bells outside. He said that everytime he heard a ships bell, he knew Captain Kramer was coming. He decided to look through the key hole at his mom’s bedroom door. He seen his mom sitting up in bed and Captain Kramer getting dressed. He offered him mom money, but she wouldn’t take it. He kept looking through the key hole until he realized…..”My mother had sex for money. She was a hoar. My mother was a hoar.”
