It was a busy day at newman. William tells Victor that he will have to search his floor today. He would like his consent to do so. If he has Victor’s consent, he won’t have to go get a court order. Victor agrees as long as they don’t hassle any of Victor’s employees. Will hands him a consent form to sign giving him permission.
Jack, Neel, Brad, Dru, Paul, Michael, and Victoria are escourted into Victor’s office by an officer to patiently wait with Victor while the police conduct their search. After the search is done, the DA lets Michael and Victor know that nothing was found on the floor. Will tells them to go to the next floor. There was an earring found in the parking garage at Newmans that matches the one that was found on Carmens body the night she was murdered. Devon asked Paul if he quit his case because he thinks that he is guilty. Paul told Devon that he knows he didn’t do it. Devon goes on to accuse Paul of siding with Newman because they pay him the big bucks. Devon joins Dru and Neel.
Michael tells Victor that Brad and Jack have reason to be worried about being accused. Michael reminds Victor that now would be a good time to consider making Jack pay for all he has done but Victor said it is not the time and he won’t think about it now.
