The Young & the Restless - Jill finds out who her son is.

by Jennifer Frye

JT and Adrian made it back to the hospital with Colleen and Kevin. JT called Kevin’s family to meet him at the hospital. He tried calling Brad but he just got his answering machine. Adrian tries to call Victoria but there is no answer. He leaves a message.

Brad, Victoria and Victor try to explain to the guard what they were doing. Victor offered to put the stone back and leave the art work alone. But the guard told them that they had broken into the place so, for that, he couldn’t let them go. He makes them start walking and starts to follow. The halls and passages are winding and every corner was something different. Then they noticed that the guard was no longer behind them. They hear a loud noise, like something shutting. They decide to turn back but Victor and Victoria have no idea where to go. Brad told them that he drew a map as they walked so that they could make it out. Victor questioned his map, but he followed him. After several wrong turns, they find a metal jail cell door that has shut. Victor puts it together, that man was no guard, he wanted the art work for himself.

Paul goes over to help Katherine and Jill try to find Jill’s son. They get a lead and Jill makes a call to her son’s adoptive father. He tells Jill that her son went to Genoa City to try and find his birth mother. He checks in ever so often and he told his dad that he got a job as a bartender working at Indigo. The last bit of information was the most helpful. His adoptive father told Jill that he goes by his nick name, Cane. Jill knows now who her son is. Katherine wants to run over there right now and tell Cane the news, but Jill is hesitant about going. She don’t want to just surprise him with the news. She sits down to figure out how to talk to her son.

Gloria, Michael and Lauren make it to the hospital. Gloria finds out from JT what happened. JT tells Michael that he thinks that Kevin tried to kill Colleen again, except this time he got caught in his own trap. Michael tries to argue with him, but Gloria steps in and defends Kevin. JT will not listen to reason. As far as he is concerned, Kevin killed Jenna and tried to kill Colleen.

The nurse comes out to tell JT and Adrian that one of them can go see Colleen. Only one at a time. JT doesn’t give Adrian a chance. He runs to be by Colleen’s side. Colleen is unconscious but JT still talks to her. He tells her that he still loves her. As he talks more, an alarm goes off. The nurse rushes in and tells JT to get out. He wants to know what is going on but no one is answering him. The nurse is scrambling around Colleen as if she is trying to save her life. JT walks out and tells Adrian that he can’t go in yet. When Adrian asked him why, he explained that the alarms went off.
