A terrible storm has set into Genoa City. Everyone has fallen victim to the storm in some way. It has knocked out power, iced roads and has stranded everyone wherever they were.
Brad and Sharon, of course, are stranded together. They were stuck at Brad and Victoria’s house. Brad admits to Sharon that he still had feelings for Sharon but he can’t let it interfere with his marriage with Victoria. She admits to Brad that she is happy for them, but at the same time, she is jealous of them.

Back at Newman, Phyllis is trapped in a elevator with Jack when she starts having contractions. Jack calls for help. She calls her doctor and tells him what she is feeling. The doctor agrees that she is starting labor. She starts to tell the doctor where she is and the line goes dead. Jack is holding her hand with every contraction. Phyllis tells Jack that her baby is breech and she is afraid that it may go without oxygen. Jack is getting anxious as the contractions get closer. He finally tells Phyllis that he can’t wait on Nick anymore. He had to do something. Phyllis tells him again that her and the baby are in danger and they could both die. She starts telling Jack that she wasn’t completely prepared for her little girl by buying her pink things. She goes into details about what she would like her to have. Then she tells Jack that she has scissors in her purse and mouthwash to cleanse them with. She also makes Jack promise that her baby will live no matter what.

Katherineis about to have a reading from a psychic, Sylvia Brown, about her nightmares she has been having. Sylvia starts her reading by telling Katherine that there is a male spirit in the room with them. She translates to Katherine that the man is sorry for leaving Jill and Katherine and that his drinking is what caused his death. When Katherine asked Sylvia who this male spirit was, Jill listened to her as Sylvia started describing him. She was describing Phillip. After the reading was over, Katherine was even more confused about her nightmares then what she was when they started. It seemed that Phillip had another clue. Phillip was saying something about the money that went to violets.

At the college, Colleen talked to Adrian. Adrian admits to her that the reason he took a job at that GCU was because he had to leave the school that he was at before coming to GCU. He tells Colleen how he had gotten involved with a girl told on a professor who was having an affair with another girl. Adrian testified for the victim and the college wanted him out for not sticking by the other professor. He said that an affair is due to not having control and that it is wrong for a teacher to be involved with a student. Colleen said that it would be alright if the girl was willing, but Adrian disagreed. Adrian admits that Colleen was the first student he had kissed and that it would never work out between him and her. But later, as they were talking about JT, Colleen confided in Adrian that JT thinks of her as a child. Adrian disagreed with JT’s opinion and grabbed Colleen and gave her a long romantic kiss.

Lilly and Daniel wreck on the icy roads. Lilly manages to get her seatbelt loose and tells Daniel that they had to get out of the car somehow. Daniel tries to get out but finds himself trapped. Lilly refuses to leave Daniel to go get help. Lilly hears a car coming. She jumps out to flag them down. It’s Nick. He runs over to help free Daniel when he realizes that the car is leaking gas and they see sparks. Daniel screams at Lilly to get out of the car but Lilly refuses.
