The Young & the Restless - Tuesday

by Jennifer Frye

Jenna locked Colleen and Kevin in a large refrigerator and is standing outside lighting a cloth. She tosses the cloth and it starts a big blaze. Meanwhile, inside the refrigerator, Colleen is pounding on the door and screaming. Kevin tries to convince her to stop and save her energy, but Colleen is feeling trapped and desperate, she needs to break free. The heavy door is no match for Colleen or Kevin, who tries to break it down also.

Victor, Brad and Victoria go on a tour to view some underground ancient hid-a-way that was built years ago. They have a hunch that the stolen art is located in this hid-a-way. The tour guide gives a very thorough talk as she walks the small crowd through. Victor, Brad and Victoria stay behind a few minutes to see if they can find clues. It paid off. The code that they were breaking is a match. They finish out the tour and whisper to each other that they will return tonight. They don’t know that someone is following them.

Dru is over at Newmans confronting David Chow. She is determined that Carmen is alive and she is telling him that she knows. She will not take the wrap for a death that never took place. She goes over to the hardware store and buys surveillance cameras and motion detectors to stop Carmen when she tries to mess with her mind. Meanwhile, Neal is meeting her doctor at the coffeehouse. Neal tells him what Dru has been doing lately and how she has been acting and he doesn’t know what to do about it. The doctor gives him advice, but its not the advice he wanted to hear. Neal needs to get Dru into the hospital for tests. He is afraid that she might be suffering from Schizophrenia. If she is, then she is a danger to herself and to others. Will calls to inform Neal that the DNA results are back in on Carmen. It was a match. The DNA sample matched the DNA from Carmen. She is really and truly dead. Now Neal goes back home to tell Dru. She is excited when he came in because she thought that her conversation with David Chow went well and it’s just a matter of time before everyone sees Carmen like she does. Neal breaks his news to Dru. She is in denial. She tells Neal that someone has botched the results, it happens all the time. Neal told her that it was court ordered so it would be guarded. Carmen is dead. Dru still don’t want to believe it and she goes over to her bags and shows Neal what she bought today to protect them and to prove that she is right.

Brad Victor and Victoria went back to the spot that they think the stolen art work is being hidden. Sure enough, they remove a stone and there it is. All of the stolen art work that had been stolen years ago, along with some other priceless treasure was stored in a little square hole waiting for someone to find them. The man who was following them shows up in a security uniform and asked them what they thought that they were doing down there after hours and they were destroying property.

JT is working with Adrian to find out where Colleen went to. JT is convinced that Colleen is missing and not on her own free will. He can’t call the police and report her missing yet because it hasn’t been 48 hours, unless he can prove foul play. Adrian is worried too. The last time anyone seen Colleen, she was leaving Adrian’s apartment. JT and Adrian decide to go search her car which is still sitting in the parking garage. When they get there, they eventually run across Kevin’s wallet. It was lying under Colleen’s car, right where Jenna threw it. They search through it and find that Kevin is a member of car find. JT gets the idea that he can call car find and act like Kevin to report his car stolen. Then, they can put a track on it and they will be able to find them. He calls and sure enough, it worked. He reported the car stolen and they are tracking it. JT and Adrian sit inside of his car listening to the police report until they give a location. JT recognizes the location and they take off.

Meanwhile, Colleen notices smoke coming in the fans toward the ceiling. Within minutes, the room is filled with smoke and JT and Colleen lay on the floor gasping for breath. Colleen confides in Kevin that she didn’t get to say goodbye to her family and now she wishes that she had. Kevin tells Colleen that his mother will forever think that he is a murderer. They start coughing and getting short of breath. Kevin pours some water onto his shirt and puts it over Colleen’s nose and tells her to breath. Colleen goes unconscious. Kevin realizes that it’s just a matter of time before he goes too.

JT and Adrian reach the place where Kevin’s car was. They fight their way through the flames and break down the door to find Colleen and Kevin unconscious on the floor. Adrian grabs Colleen up in his arms and carries her outside as JT yells out that they need to hurry before the roof collapses on them. JT begins to drag Kevin outside. Will he make it?
