Catherine had a dream last night that she was running through the forest holding a baby. She doesn’t know what it could mean and it really has her upset. She later tells Jill, who asks Catherine why she is stepping down from the company, allowing Jill to run it. After talking to Jill, Catherine thinks that the reason she had her dream is because she is worried about Jill. Catherine and Jill decide to get a DNA test done.

Dru, Neel and Devon pay Michael a visit. They tell Michael they want to adopt Devon, legally, and would he prepare the paperwork? A tearful Michael is honored. Since Devon is an adult, he just needs to draw up the papers and do a quick court appearance and it is finalized. Dru, Neel and Devon go to the doctor to activate Devons hearing implant. He tells Dru and Neel that he is nervous. After the activation starts, Devon still can’t hear everything. Dru turns to Neel crying because she thinks that it isn’t going to work. Devon hears everything Dru is saying. It worked!

Michael requests that the DA run all the prints that were found on the new evidence through the data base. The DA says it is a waste of taxpayers money. He won’t do it but he agrees that it does need to be done.

Paul goes into Brad’s office to discuss his case. Brad is worried that his past will come up. He tells Paul to keep his past a secret.
Michael talks to Paul about the case. Paul feels torn because he is working for Newman and also helping Michael on the case to figure out who killed Carmen. Michael suggests Paul is protecting Brad. “Protecting him from what?” Michael comments, “That’s what I want to know”. Paul doesn’t want to be in the middle anymore and tells Michael he quits!

Nickki comments to Victor that Jack may not trust him as much as he says he does. Victor calls Jack into his office. When Jack got there, Victor introduced him to Sasha. She said she was interested in Jabot Moisturizers but Jack said he no longer deals with that. Sasha shows him a plant. Jack says he don’t have time for this and turns to walk out. Victor insists that he stay and relax. Jack reluctantly sits down. Sasha shows them the Japenese art of arranging flowers. After they are done, Jack leaves, confused. He walks into Ashley’s office carrying his flower and tells Ashley that he thinks Victor is in his own little world. Victor was standing outside the door. He waves at Ashley and goes into his office. Victor throws his flower in the trash.

Brad and Ashley have a disagreement about Abby. She wanted to help Victoria decorate the tree. Ashley tells her that she can’t because they are going away.
